Notice to the Market
Recife, April 5, 2021, Ser Educacional S.A. (B3 SEER3), one of the largest private education groups in Brazil and the leader in the North and Northeast regions, pursuant to Law 6404/1976, of CVM Instruction 358/2002, and in addition to the material fact disclosed on December 20, 2020,
hereby informs its shareholders and the market in general that on this date, after compliance with the precedent conditions, the financial liquidation of the Stock Purchase and Sale Agreement (“Agreement”) and the effective transfer to CENESUP – Centro Nacional de Ensino Superior Ltda. (“CENESUP”), subsidiary of Ser Educacional S.A., of the capital stock of Instituto Avançado de Ensino Superior de Barreiras (“IAESB”), maintainer of Centro Universitário São Francisco de Barreiras (“UNIFASB”).
With UNIFASB, Ser Educacional incorporates courses in the areas of human sciences and health, including Medicine, with 80 (eighty) authorized annual places or 96 (ninety-six) annual places, when including PROUNI and FIES. With this, the portfolio of Medicine courses at Ser Educacional now has the following composition:
