Acquisition of Centro Universitário 7 de Setembro – UNI7
Recife, June 30, 2022, Ser Educacional (B3 SEER3), one of the largest continuing education companies in Brazil, in compliance with the provisions of CVM Instruction No. 358 dated January 3, 2002, as amended, and Paragraph 4 of Article 157 of Law No. 6.404, dated December 15, 1976, as amended (Brazilian Corporate Law), informs its shareholders and the market in general that a Share Purchase and Sale Agreement (“Agreement”), was executed, through which its subsidiary CENESUP – Centro Nacional de Ensino Superior Ltda. (“CENESUP”) agreed to acquire one hundred percent (100%) of the share capital of a new company to be incorporated by Educadora Sete de Setembro Ltda., as seller, which will be the supporting entity of Centro Universitário 7 de Setembro (“UNI7”), located in Fortaleza (CE).
Operating for over 20 years in Brazilian higher education, UNI7 is one of the most renowned and traditional educational institutions in Fortaleza. Centro Universitário 7 de Setembro recorded net revenues of around eighteen million Brazilian Reais (R$18,000,000.00) in the last twelve months and has around one thousand and six hundred (1,600) students enrolled in its undergraduate courses in Hybrid Learning, especially in Law, Business Administration, Engineering, and Psychology.
