Material Fact
Recife, June 16, 2014 – SER EDUCACIONAL S.A. (“Company”, BM&FBOVESPA: SEER3), in compliance with CVM Instruction 358/02, hereby informs its shareholders and the market in general that the Company’s Board of Directors, in a meeting held on June 16, 2014, approved the change in the Company’s policy for disclosure of material acts or facts (“Disclosure Policy”) to include the disclosure of material acts or facts through online news portals, provided that material acts or facts are disclosed in full and in a section with free access.
Consequently, the Company will disclose its material acts or facts via (i) an online news portal (http://www.valor.com.br/valor-ri/fatos-relevantes) and (ii) CVM’s system for submission of periodic and occasional information (IPE System), as permitted by CVM Instruction 547, of February 5, 2014, which amended CVM Instruction 358/02.
